Specialized Therapy for Deep Healing & Lasting Change
Helping trauma survivors, therapists, and neurodivergent adults find clarity, resilience, and relief.
Helping trauma survivors, therapists, and neurodivergent adults find clarity, resilience, and relief.
You’ve done the work. You’ve survived. But survival isn’t the same as thriving.
I work with:
✅ Trauma survivors who feel stuck, even after years of therapy.
✅ Therapists & healers who carry the emotional weight of others and need space to process their own struggles.
✅ Neurodivergent adults (e.g., autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive folks) looking for a therapist who truly understands their experiences.
Hi, I’m Heather. and I’ve been providing counseling services since 2015. I launched Evergreen Counseling and Consulting, LLC in early 2020—right before the world changed in some big ways! Before that, I worked in the Atlanta area. These days, I offer exclusively telehealth-based individual therapy for adults (18+), working with clients across Pennsylvania, Florida, and Georgia via a secure online platform.
I believe we all have strengths to draw on as we move toward healing. My work focuses on trauma recovery, especially religious, spiritual, and cultic trauma. I also have a deep appreciation for the unique quirks and gifts of high-IQ and high-achieving individuals. And if you’re a therapist coming back to do more of your own healing work, I love holding space for that too. I use a blend of EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Brainspotting depending on what you find accessible and helpful.
My background blends psychology, counseling, and theology—I hold a Bachelor's in Psychology, a Master’s in Professional Counseling, a Master’s in Theological Studies, and a Doctorate in Theology. If spirituality is something you’d like to integrate into therapy, I’m happy to do that—but if it’s not your thing, no worries at all!
I’m fiercely affirming of LGBTQ+ folks, as well as anyone who has been marginalized by race, ethnicity, religion, neurodiversity, ability, and more. I take my privilege seriously and am always learning how to engage more deeply in justice work—both in the counseling profession and in the world.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect! Shoot me an email or hit that "Contact" button on the navigation bar above. I can't wait to hear from you!
