Clinical Supervision and EMDR Consultation

You've finished your degree and have embarked on the long road to licensure. Great! But now you've got to find a supervisor. Not as easy! I had excellent supervision pre-licensure, and I want you to have the same experience. I'm happy to offer clinical supervision to LPC candidates.

My areas of expertise include trauma (simple and complex), particularly religious/spiritual/cultic trauma. I also work with high IQ kids and adults. My passions in supervision include helping you process through ethical quandaries and countertransference, discerning the counseling model that works best for you, and developing your skills as a clinician. I will be both affirming and challenging, suggesting ways to work with clients and offering skill-development sessions where needed.

As an EMDRIA™ Certified EMDR therapist and Consultant-in-Training, I can provide up to 15 of the 20 hours required for you to become certified in EMDR. I specialize in religious/spiritual trauma, neurodivergence, and therapy for therapists returning to do more of their own work.

I offer EMDR consultation that integrates parts work generally, and IFS specifically, into the 3-prong, 8-phase EMDR model. I'm also trained in Brainspotting and Deep Brain Reorientation for those who want to talk about how EMDR might work well for clients coming from those modalities.
